ASCO Tumor Board

Management of Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

In this tumor board, experts explore multidisciplinary treatment approaches for a 73-year-old woman with grade 3, pT1 transitional cell carcinoma. The cancer recurred upon initial treatment. Research evidence, as well as patient and tumor-related factors that impact treatment selection are discussed in depth.

Learning Objectives

Upon participation in this activity, learners will be better able to:

  • Review the pathological determinants of recurrence, progression and understaging in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer
  • Evaluate appropriate strategies for management of patients with high-risk NMIBC
