Evaluation and Management of Metastatic Lung Cancer
In this course we will learn about the basic principles of diagnosing, staging, and treating metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer. Through patient cases and expert discussions, we walk you evaluation, including biomarker testing, treatment selection and follow up for these patients. In our companion course, Evaluation and Management of Early-Stage and Locally Advanced Lung Cancer, we explore localized and locally advanced lung cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon participation in this activity, learners will be better able to:
- Describe workup and procedures for diagnosing and staging advanced, non-small cell lung cancer, including biomarker testing.
- Discuss common systemic therapy approaches and adverse effects for metastatic lung cancer.
